The client requested us to conduct a Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI) and report faults to the factory for repair before dispatch. Once the vessel was completed by the factory and all snags resolved we collected to begin retro work. Before carrying out the retro work our engineers preformed a full sea trial and systems check. After all works are complete the yacht is cleaned through out and protected for shipping.
This retro task involved the whole team here at PR Nautica, our designers and buyers worked together to ensure this was possible and all components were purchased. For the install to begin the standard fitted sun pads were removed. Our engineers fitted all necessary electrics and plumbing including a stainless-steel freshwater hose connection on the wet bar to enable filling. Once the Jacuzzi was fitted, our in-house sprayer sprayed the outside of the Jacuzzi to suit the yacht. Our technicians fitted teak boarders and fabricated a custom step, complete with teak thread to complete the look. Additional canopy supports were also fitted to add stiffening to the flybridge.
To fit a watermaker to this yacht we had a bespoke aluminium frame made by a sub contractor, the frame was powder coated to give a pristine, white finish to match the interior of the engine room. Our engineers assisting the customer with this request recommend a Idromar MC2J auto flush watermaker.
